Official Shipping & Fulfillment Policy

At CronicX, we are committed to delivering premium smart devices—including laptops, iPhones, and tablets—safely and securely to customers across South Africa. To guarantee full transparency and safeguard our e-commerce operations, this section details our precise shipping timelines, customer responsibilities regarding import parameters, and cross-border delivery mechanics.

1. Delivery Locations & Domestic Scope

Territory Limits: CronicX services all geographic areas strictly within the borders of the Republic of South Africa. We do not offer international delivery to cross-border destinations at this stage.

Coverage Areas: Our delivery network specifically encompasses major metropolitan centres, regional economic hubs, and the campuses or residential zones surrounding major academic institutions.

Fulfillment: Deliveries are executed via trusted regional and national courier partners straight to the customer's specified residential address, workplace, or designated collection point.

2. Sourcing Architecture & Operational Delivery Timelines

To deliver premium consumer technology at highly competitive price points, CronicX operates an optimized international digital fulfilment model. While our consumer delivery network is strictly domestic, hardware orders are dispatched directly from our global digital supplier facilities and verified procurement networks (including our primary smartphone channel at Pluro Store) straight to the South African end-consumer.

The fulfilment journey is broken down into two distinct phases:

Fulfilment Phase Duration Operational Scope
Premium Order Processing

2–4 Business Days

Secure payment verification, anti-fraud checks, order routing, component testing, and secure packaging by the supplier. Collected by the courier.

Standard Transit

5–7 Business Days

Package travels from the courier straight to the domestic customer.

Total Estimated Delivery Runway: 7–14 Business Days from the point of successful transaction confirmation to final domestic delivery.

▲ Important Advisory Notice for Customers: While the vast majority of premium shipments land on the lower end of our estimated delivery runway, clients are advised that international logistics corridors into South Africa can experience variable delays. These variations typically stem from flight routing schedules, localized airline capacity restrictions, or backlogs within national customs hubs. CronicX maintains continuous digital tracking on all items to mitigate these anomalies.

3. Customs Duties, Import Clearance, and Import VAT Requirements

Because products travel directly from international fulfilment channels to your South African delivery address, all shipments entering the country are subject to legal border clearance protocols mandated by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

➤ Import Liability: In strict alignment with South African import frameworks, the client is recognized legally as the Importer of Record for the purchased smart hardware. Consequently, the customer assumes full legal and financial responsibility for any import VAT, statutory border handling clearance fees, or ad valorem customs duties levied by SARS or authorized clearance agents.

➤ Customs Billing Process: Upon arrival at the South African border (typically at OR Tambo International Mail Centre or specialized commercial clearance terminals), the incoming package is assessed by customs officials. The processing courier agency will contact the customer directly via SMS, email, or telephone with a formal customs breakdown invoice. This must be settled online directly with the courier to trigger immediate release and final domestic delivery.

Store Price Exclusion: All listed prices on the CronicX storefront are explicitly exclusive of international customs duties and import border charges. These remain distinct, external costs separate from our standard product pricing structure.
